The Skaaldic Society is an informal group of Lansing area writers who meet to read and respond on the second Wednesday of every month at Lansing Community College's Arts & Sciences Building (on the Washington Mall at Shiawassee Street), Room 165, from 6:30 till roughly... whenever.  For more information and a schedule, visit the Skaalds' website at www.skaalds.com for the latest updates or write to the Rally web manager via the link below.

Peninsula Writers is a mid-Michigan writers organization with roughly 100 members, which sponsors writing retreats and conferences every year, including "Writing Camp Heaven" the third week of June and a weekend retreat in September at Glen Lake in the Leelanau Peninsula, plus a winter weekend retreat in Grand Haven, and Saturday spring conference (currently held in East Lansing). Visit the website for more details. There are always a few small groups in process, from Holland to St. Johns. Contact Small Group Coordinator Rich Travis at peninsulawriters@att.net
